Cancellation Policy

  • Cancel before 48 hours of start time = no charge

  • Cancel after 48 hours of start time = 20% charge of the card on file 

  • No call / no show = 20% charge of the card on file

  • If a member of our team has to cancel your appointment within 48 hours of the start time, you will receive a 20% discount off your service (labor) charge at your rescheduled appt.

Running Late?

Please note that Edify Salon has a strict 15 min cancellation policy. If you are beyond 15 minutes late, it is considered a no-call/no-show, and is at the discretion of the stylist to do one or all of the following:

  • Automatically cancel the appointment and charge 20% for a missed appointment.

  • If stylists keep appointments they are entitled to skip steps of the service such as but not limited to washing, styling, etc.

  • Stylists may reschedule appointments for a later date, 20%last minute cancellation fee still applies.

Positivity 

Edify Salon is an inclusive and safe space that considers your emotions in regard to salon conversation. For this reason, we ask that we keep negative conversations about others at bay. It is for our mutual benefit and well-being that we abstain from conversations that perpetuate negativity.

Children Under 18 

  • Children under the age of 16 may book services, but they must stay under the supervision of an adult who is required to be with them the entire time.

  • A salon is not a safe space for unattended children and we ask that if and when they are in attendance that they are cared for with the supervision of an adult at all times.

Pricing

Our Salon's pricing is based on services (labor) and products used (materials). There is a service fee and a product usage fee (labor and materials). We believe by weighing products and knowing exact costs of our materials, the customer is only paying for their unique and specific product usage.

Our teams pricing structure is based on a level system. Each stylist has to excel in their skillset in order to advance to the next level. With each level accomplished, the stylist earns higher compensation for the work they produce. 

Gratuities

Tipping is up to the discretion of each client and we are always extremely grateful. The industry average is 15% - 25% of the service.

Refunds and Exchanges

Edify Salon itself does NOT REFUND MONEY FOR ANY SERVICES. If you have received an issue with any service at Edify Salon, please call 423-202-3403 and we will schedule an enhanced appointment to remedy your situation. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept product returns after 7 days from purchase.
